Exciting news: The 2025 Right to Run 5k/19k is happening May 10th in Seneca Falls, and you can also participate virtually through May 31st – from anywhere in the U.S.!
This year, we’re thrilled to announce that the race will start and finish at the National Women’s Hall of Fame – the very place where trailblazing women are honored and celebrated. All participants will also enjoy discounted admission to the Hall on race day just by showing their race bib.
Why We Run
The Right to Run is more than a race – it’s a tribute to the resilience, strength, and determination of generations of women who fought for equality. Held in historic Seneca Falls, the site of the 1848 Women’s Rights Convention, this event honors the tireless efforts that led to the ratification of the 19th Amendment, which recognized women’s right to vote.
The race embodies the spirit of those suffragists – every step forward is a reminder of their legacy. Racers have two ways to join:
✨ Run the historic route in person, surrounded by the landmarks that shaped the women’s rights movement.
🌍 Run virtually from wherever you are – and still be part of the movement.
How You Can Support
The National Women’s Hall of Fame is proud to serve as a race partner and beneficiary. Proceeds from this event support our mission to inspire generations by sharing the stories of extraordinary women who broke barriers and changed the world.
Whether you’re joining the race or cheering from the sidelines, there are many ways to get involved:
- 🏃♀️ Register to run (in person or virtually)
- 🙌 Volunteer on race day
- 💜 Make a donation
- 📣 Forward this race to fellow advocates for women’s rights!
Every contribution makes a difference.

Bonus Impact: The Sports Bra Project
Don’t forget to bring a new sports bra to packet pick-up or race day! Donations go to The Sports Bra Project, a nonprofit providing this essential item to girls and women whose access to sports is limited by lack of resources.
We can’t wait to see you at the start line—or cheering from wherever you are. Let’s run with purpose. Let’s run with pride.
Thank you for your support.
