The 1848 Society

When you purchase any of the special promotional packages above, you will automatically be enrolled as a member of the 1848 Society.

In 2023, the National Women’s Hall of Fame announced the 1848 Society, new membership opportunities to recognize donors who make meaningful contributions in support of the Hall’s mission. All 1848 Society members receive a membership card, free admission to the museum, and the 1848 Society e-newsletter. To learn more about additional benefits and membership levels, visit the 1848 Society webpage here.

Why 1848? The 1848 Society pays homage to the legacy of great 19th century Suffragists who propelled the American fight for gender equality. One hundred and seventy-five years ago, in July 1848, hundreds of women and men congregated in Seneca Falls, NY for what is widely recognized to be the first women’s rights convention. Today you’ll find the stories of many Suffragists among the 300+ stories who will forever have a home at the National Women’s Hall of Fame.

Like those who made the pilgrimage to the 1848 Seneca Falls Convention, your contribution stands to support a more inclusive, equitable future for all.
