The National Women’s Hall of Fame invites members of our greater community to be part of a powerful and creative tribute to women who inspire us.
We are currently collecting 12” x 12” quilt squares that honor women—living or deceased, individuals or groups—whose lives exemplify the values of courage, generosity, and leadership. These quilt squares will be lovingly sewn together into a Community Quilt, to be proudly displayed in the Mary Church Terrell Exhibit.
This is your opportunity to share a story, celebrate a legacy, and contribute to a lasting piece of community art.
Guidelines:
- Size: 12 inches by 12 inches
- Deadline: Quilt squares must be received by September 27th
- Delivery: Squares may be mailed or dropped off at the Hall
- Include: The name of the creator and a brief story behind the square—who it honors and why
Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or creating your very first square, we welcome all skill levels and heartfelt contributions.
If you have any questions about the project, feel free to reach out to us directly or call the Hall at 315-568-8060.
Let’s come together to stitch the stories of remarkable women into a quilt that will inspire generations to come.
