As part of our Week of Women celebration, the National Women’s Hall of Fame is proud to announce that we will be hosting a lecture with Kate Grindstaff and Emily Kraft from the Seward House Museum in Auburn, New York!

The presentation entitled “Changing Times, Changing Minds: the Powerful Friendship of Frances Seward and Martha Coffin Wright” discusses the intertwined lives and ideals of Seward family matriarch Frances Seward and 2007 Inductee Martha Coffin Wright. Together, they petitioned for women’s rights, linked their homes on the Underground Railroad, and fought for social justice.

This event will be held in person at the Hall.
