Butler, Judy Chicago, Rebecca Halstead, Joy Harjo, Emily Howland, Katherine Johnson, Indra Nooyi, and Michelle Obama. 2005 Inductee Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton is serving as honorary chair and will be joined by other Inductees to celebrate these exceptional women.

Note: Attendees are not required to show proof of vaccination but are strongly advised to take a COVID test and wear a mask at indoor events. The National Women’s Hall of Fame will have surgical masks available at all indoor venues.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 23 

7-9:15PM | VIP Welcome Reception | National Women’s Hall of Fame Grounds | 1 Canal Street, Seneca Falls 

Mix and mingle with key National Women’s Hall of Fame stakeholders including board members, Inductees, and donors. Sponsored by the Universities Space Research Association, this event will include heavy hors devours, champagne, a signature cocktail, non-alcoholic drinks, and a cash bar. The event will conclude at 9pm with a fireworks display, presented by Generations Bank and Sessler Wrecking

TICKETS: This is a private event that is not open to the public. All guests are required to check-in under their/their party’s name at the door.

DRESS: Business

PARKING: Street parking is available along Canal Street, Bayard Street, and Bridge Street. Overflow parking is available at Generations Bank Headquarters (20 E. Bayard St.)  

DIRECTIONS: A large tent will sit adjacent to the National Women’s Hall of Fame at 1 Canal Street, Seneca Falls. From the NYS Thruway, take exit 41. Merge onto NY-414 South and turn left onto NY-318 E. Turn right onto Gravel Road and continue onto Cayuga Street and then Ovid. Turn right onto West Bayard and right again onto Center Street. The National Women’s Hall of Fame sits on the edge of the Cayuga-Seneca Canal and its iconic smokestack can be seen from many locations in Seneca Falls. 

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24 

2-4PM | Induction Ceremony | Smith Opera House | 82 Seneca Street, Geneva 

The National Women’s Hall of Fame will host its 30th Induction Ceremony. The Inductees honored this year are Octavia E. Butler, Judy Chicago, Rebecca Halstead, Joy Harjo, Emily Howland, Katherine Johnson, Indra Nooyi, and Michelle Obama. 2005 Inductee Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton is serving as honorary chair and will be joined by other Inductees to celebrate these exceptional women.  

Tickets must be shown at the door for entry.  Doors open at 1pm.  If your company supplies individual names and email addresses prior to 8/30/22, each guest will receive a ticket via email from the Smith Opera House.  Otherwise, your company’s main point of contact will receive all tickets and is responsible for distributing them.

All attendees will be subject to a security screening and bag check upon entry. Please arrive early.

TICKETS: This is a ticketed event. Unless your company provided individual names and email addresses for attendees in August, the main point of contact for your party will receive all of your sponsor tickets directly from the Smith Opera House.  All attendees will be subject to a security and bag check upon entry.  

PARKING: There are several public parking lots within walking distance to the theater. Click here for a map. Street parking is also available.  

DIRECTIONS: The Smith Opera House is at 82 Seneca Street in Geneva, NY. From the NYS Thruway, take Exit 42 (Geneva/Lyons) and merge onto Route 14 South toward Geneva. Continue about 5.8 miles. Route 14 eventually turns into Exchange Street as you approach downtown Geneva. Once on Exchange Street, turn right onto Seneca Street. The Smith Opera House is about 1/10th of a mile on the right. 

7-10PM | Induction Gala | Tent, National Women’s Hall of Fame Grounds| 1 Canal Street, Seneca Falls 

Celebrate the night away along the sides of the Cayuga Seneca Canal, at the base of the historic Seneca Knitting Mill! This sold-out Gala will include delicious food and drinks, live music by the all-woman Jazz-trio, Elle, and unique shopping opportunities at the National Women’s Hall of Fame giftshop.  

TICKETS: This is a sold-out ticketed event. Ticket holder’s names will be on a list and checked-in upon entry.  All attendees will be subject to a security and bag check upon entry.

10AM-4PM | Mill Around the Hall | National Women’s Hall of Fame| 1 Canal Street, Seneca Falls 

Have you visited the National Women’s Hall of Fame in our new location at the 1844 Seneca Knitting Mill? Well now’s your chance! To cap off Induction Weekend, the National Women’s Hall of Fame will offer free admission and food to all gallery visitors. Stop by and learn more about our renovation process, and exhibit plans! The open house is free and open to the public, thanks to presenting sponsor BonaDent Laboratories. Food will be available thanks to Simply Homemade Catering
