DESCRIPTION:The National Women’s Hall of Fame is proud to award Jeanne Giovannini of Seneca Falls with the 2025 Keeper of the Flame Award on Saturday\, September 27\, 2025\, at a public reception hosted at the Hall. \nA night at the mill – ceremony & celebration! \nThe evening unfolds with a lavish array of chef-crafted bites\, fine wines\, and other delights as you tour the beautifully rehabilitated and renovated Hall. \nImmerse yourself in the rich history and behind-the-scenes efforts that preserved this landmark and behold the original torch that journeyed from Seneca Falls to Houston for the 1977 National Women’s Conference. \nLater\, we honor Jeanne and our project partners for their extraordinary vision\, and celebrate the remarkable outpouring of support from the Seneca Falls community! \n  \n— \nJoin us as we recognize Jeanne’s incredible leadership and unwavering commitment to the Mill Renovation Project—a years-long effort that helped transform the historic 1844 Seneca Knitting Mill into a vibrant\, accessible museum and gathering space. \nSince joining the Hall’s board in 2007\, Jeanne has played a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life. Under her guidance\, the project was honored with New York State’s highest historic preservation award and now stands as a beacon of women’s history and community. \nCome celebrate this milestone with us and be part of history.
